Office Bearers

Tony, our Chair, co-ordinates the overall running of the choir.

Anne is our Secretary and is responsible for all communications between BCS and the world.. In particular, the Secretary will liaise with venues and the musicians we work with

Elspeth is our Treasurer. and as you might expect, deals with BCS finances as well the collection of members subs each year

Ruth, our Membership Secretary is your first point of contact with BCS. who is responsible for seeing new members through the process from the initial enquiry through to joining the choir. Ruth also manages the voice assessment process

We are proud to have Jordan as our Musical Director. His musical career is extensive and spans many years.

The skills and enthusiasm he brings to our choir bring out the best in us and he inspires us to be an amateur choir with a professional ethos.

We are equally proud to have Mark as our Assistant Musical Director and accompanist. Mark is an accomplished musician working with The Royal Academy of Music, the Royal College of Music and the BBC Symphony Orchestra to name just a few. He frequently appears on the BBC accompanying singers and solo musicians.

Our ability to learn our parts to the level the choir achieves is in large part due to his musical skills, his dexterity on the keyboard as well as his patience.
