2022 may be coming to an end, but the music continues.

What a wonderful time we had in the Anvil, Basingstoke, last month, and from our audience feedback, they too shared in an evening to be remembered with fondness for a long time.

Here are just a few of the comments we heard afterwards:-

The choir was amongst the best I have ever seen”

“Last night's performance was joyous. We loved it”

“I’ve never been to anything like it before. I was blown away by the sheer technical skill and perfect merging of voices and orchestra like I have never heard before”.

“When’s the next concert? We want to come”

If you could not be there, or if you want a reminder, here is a taste of how the evening went.

So what's planned for 2023? In April, on the 1st to be precise, we will be back at the Anvil but this time we will be joined by our friends from Croydon Philharmonic Choir for Bach's Mass in B Minor; a work that is widely regarded as one of the supreme achievements of classical music. We are already hard at work getting ready for this concert and it would be great to see you there.

Then in July, again on the 1st, we will be revisiting Bernstein's Chichester Psalms and other works, this time at All Saint's Church, Odiham. But more of this later.

All of us here at Basingstoke Choral Society would love you to join us in 2023 and share some of the most beautiful music there is, but in the meantime, may we wish you a really happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year.

And don't forget, if you would like to sing with us, we would love to have you join. Just let us know using the contact form.
