Mark Kinkaid - Assistant Musical Director
Mark Kinkaid was born in 1965 and started playing piano at the age of six. He has performed various works with orchestra and spends most of his time as a freelance accompanist, at the Royal College, Royal Academy of Music and BBC Symphony Orchestra. He has broadcast a duo recital on Classic FM with Lisa Friend (flute) and also gave a duo recital with James Dutton (flute) in the Purcell Room as part of Park Lane Group recitals. He was official accompanist on the Toroella de Montgri Summer Course in 1992 and 1993. He has accompanied Basingstoke Choral Society for more than 25 years, and was appointed Assistant Musical Director in September 1997.
